On the southern slope of Medvednica nests a picturesque medieval castle which has been watching over Zagreb for eight centuries. It was built in 1254, after the catastrophic invasion of Tartars. Even though magnificently fortified and always ready for battle, Medvedgrad was never attacked. While listening to the legend of the Black Queen, you will be able to enjoy the most amazing view.
This wonderfull underground beauty is the fourth longest cave in Croatia in length. It was named after the wind flow that appears at the entrance as a result of the temperature difference (cave adiabatic is about 10° C). Folloving the footsteps of long instict animals, this historical treasure will take your breath away.
