DAY 1/ Zagreb – Knin – Miljevci
Pick up at agreed location. Driving trough the beautiful country side all the way to Dalmatian inland (short break along the way). First stop is near the Krka river source and waterfalls Krčić where a kanu ride is planned (cca. 40min) to reach the Knin fortress. Exploring the Knin fortress. In the evening the tour takes you to a nearby ranch with a tempting offer of local dalmatian specialities. Overnight.
DAY 2/ Visovac – Roški slap
Breakfast. Embarking on the road to the Franciscan monastery on the island Visovac with a guide. An easy stroll trough the landscape of the canyon to the largest waterfall on the Krka river and visiting the medieval fortress ‘Kamičak’. Swimming and relaxing by the Roški waterfall. Free time for lunch. After lunch, a boat ride is planned to reach the ancient monastery of Krka (optional). Walk trough the park to the cave where you can see the deep river canyon. Visiting the village where you can taste the most famous product from this area – Drniš prosciutto. ‘Zip line’ adventure (optional) . Dinner in Etnoland with experience of traditional village life. Overnight.
DAY 3/ Miljevci – Promina – Drniš – Zagreb
Breakfast. Promina trekking (1148m) with expert guidance to the top of the moutanin which gives you a breathtaking view of Knin, River Čikola and Dalmatian coast. Visiting the town Drniš where you will experience the ‘dalmatian way of living’. After some free time the tour continues to the village where Ivan Meštrović, the most famous Croatian sculptor, spent his childhood. Visiting the ‘Ivan Meštrović’ mausoleum. Departure for Zagreb in the afternoon.
